I will dominate 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
